- Key highlights
- The Precision CARRS study aims to understand why cardiovascular disease (CVD) develops in some individuals but not others by examining biological, environmental, behavioral, and social determinants. It uses detailed subclinical and clinical cardiovascular phenotyping, targeted biomarkers, and multi-omics analyses within the CARRS cohort in Delhi and Chennai. The study will generate about 176,536 person-years of follow-up, identifying incident ASCVD and heart failure events to better characterize the natural history of CVD.
